Today, the leading gambling software supplier Microgaming revealed that its high-quality casino and mobile gaming content provided via the Quickfire platform will go live with Amaya Inc.’s brand PokerStars. Under the terms of the contract, which is considered as one of great significance to Microgaming, as its casino and mobile gaming offering will be accessed by PokerStars’ customers.
The Director of the Quickfire division at Microgaming Andrew Clucas commented on the deal with PokerStars, saying it was really exciting for the entire team of Quickfire to sign a partnership contract with such a major brand as the Isle of Man-based online poker brand. Mr. Clucas said that it would be great for Microgaming’s unit to join forces with the poker brand, especially considering the fact that the latter’s offices were so close regionally.
According to Quickfire platform’s boss, the partnership agreement would be greatly beneficial for the company, as its vast range of games would become available to millions of PokerStars’ customers on a global scale.
Both the software developer and the online poker room brand have been known as market leaders in their fields of operation. PokerStars was established in 2001 and since then has become the largest and most respected online poker website since then. Up to date, there are over 108 million registered users of the website and 165 million hands dealt.
On the other hand, Microgaming has managed to become one of the major names in the online gaming software sector since it has been founded in the 90s. Currently, the company works in collaboration with more than 600 gaming websites, providing them with high-quality content.
No matter that the PokerStars brand has mostly been associated with poker, the Isle of Man-based operator has been focused on diversifying its PokerStars Casino offering. Thanks to the partnership agreement with Microgaming’s Quickfire, the online poker brand would gain access to the high-quality gaming portfolio of the platform, boosting its casino offering to reach more customers worldwide.
The deal was also confirmed by the Chief Operating Officer of PokerStars Guy Templer, who praised the vast experience of Microgaming, saying that no other company was able to match the level of expertise of the Isle of Man-based developer’s brand.
Mr. Templer explained that the customers of PokerStars Casino would be able to reach the best content implemented on the Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, including slot games and jackpot games. He also said that Microgaming’s content would probably be given a warm welcome by their players, which on the other hand would offer the poker brand the chance to consolidate its positions as the fastest-growing online casino on a global scale.
